Prior to CARE Enterprises, Lisa spent almost 10 years on Wall Street as a corporate finance professional advising environmental service and industrial companies on mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions. Following this, she worked at the Clinton Foundation, where she explored the issue of water and sanitation in the developing world. She continued this work as a senior member of the team that launched the Clinton Hunter Development Initiative in Malawi during 2006. She then returned to New York to start and lead CGI International as part of the Clinton Global Initiative expansion in 2008.




Virginia has spent her career promoting sustainable, market-led economic growth across Asia-Pacific and Sub-Saharan Africa. With the Palladium Group, she worked on enterprise development projects in frontier markets, helping local businesses grow and scale, and creating pipeline for private investors. Virginia has also worked to execute deals at different financial institutions including MicroVest, Morgan Stanley, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), and with dozens of leading impact investors across Southeast Asia. She has participated in the design of multiple impact funds to stimulate further investment into South and Southeast Asian social enterprises.
